Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Golden Intelligence LLC has made reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but recommends consulting a qualified attorney for specific legal guidance.

Golden Intelligence LLC ("Golden Intelligence," "we," "us," or "our") operates an automated missed-call text-back SMS service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who it is shared with.

This policy covers two groups of people: the small businesses that subscribe to our service (our "clients"), and the individuals who call those businesses and receive an automated text message in response ("callers" or "you").

1. Our role: we act on behalf of the business you called

We do not obtain phone numbers on our own initiative, and we do not build or maintain marketing lists. Our system is connected to a client business's phone line. When a call to that business goes unanswered or reaches voicemail, our system sends a single automated text message back to the number that placed the call, on behalf of that business.

In practical terms, the client business decides what the message says and who it goes to (anyone who calls them and is not answered), and we operate the system that sends it. We process caller information as a service provider to the client business and only for the purposes described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

From callers

  • Phone number. The mobile or landline number that placed the call to the client business. This is captured automatically from the inbound call — you do not submit it to us directly.
  • Call metadata. The date and time of the missed call, which business was called, and whether the call was unanswered or went to voicemail. We use this to determine whether a text-back should be sent and to avoid sending duplicates.
  • SMS message content. The text of the automated message we send. If you reply to that message, we receive your reply and check it for opt-out keywords so that we can honor them. We do not forward the content of your reply to the client business.
  • Message delivery status. Whether a message was delivered, failed, or was answered with an opt-out keyword, along with carrier error codes returned to us.
  • Opt-out status. If you reply STOP or a similar keyword, we record that your number has opted out so that we do not message you again.

We do not collect your name, email address, physical address, payment details, location data, or any other personal information from you as part of the text-back service, unless you choose to include such information in a reply you send to that number.

From client businesses

  • Business contact and account details (business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and billing information) needed to set up and maintain the account.
  • The message template the business wants sent, and the phone line or number the service is connected to.

3. How we use information

We use the information above only to:

  • Send the automated text-back message to a caller on behalf of the business they called;
  • Receive inbound replies and check them for opt-out keywords so that opt-out requests are honored;
  • Honor opt-out requests and maintain a suppression list of numbers that have replied STOP;
  • Monitor delivery, diagnose technical failures, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure and reliable;
  • Provide the client business with basic reporting on their own account, such as how many missed calls were answered by text;
  • Meet our legal, regulatory, and carrier compliance obligations, including recordkeeping about consent and opt-outs.

We do not use caller phone numbers or message content for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the text-back service.

4. Consent and how messaging works

You receive a text from us because you placed a call to a business that uses our service and the call was not answered. The message is a direct reply to your call, sent to the number you called from. We do not message numbers that have not called one of our client businesses, and we do not send marketing campaigns, bulk blasts, or promotional offers to callers.

Message frequency. You will typically receive one text message in response to each missed call to the business you contacted. We do not send recurring or scheduled messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

Opting out. You can stop messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further automated messages will be sent to your number. Replying HELP returns information about this service, including how to contact us directly. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above:

  • Caller phone numbers, message content, call metadata, and related consent or opt-out records: retained for up to four (4) years from the date of collection, consistent with applicable statutes of limitations, after which such data is deleted or de-identified.
  • Client business account records: retained for the life of the account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • Aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, total messages sent per month) may be retained indefinitely. These cannot be used to identify you.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade phone numbers or message content. We do not share them with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own marketing purposes.

We share information only with the parties necessary to operate the service:

  • The client business you called. That business receives your phone number and the record that you called and were sent an automated reply, so they can follow up with you directly. Their own privacy practices apply to their handling of that information.
  • Twilio Inc., our messaging and carrier gateway. Twilio transmits messages between our system and the mobile carriers. Your phone number and message content necessarily pass through Twilio in order to be delivered. Twilio processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy, available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
  • Mobile carriers. The wireless carriers that deliver the message to your handset receive the number and message content as an unavoidable part of delivery.
  • Supabase, Inc., our database and backend infrastructure. Supabase stores this data on our behalf under contracts that limit it to processing the data for us.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, or a threat to safety.

In summary, we use the following third-party service providers to operate our service: Twilio, Inc. (SMS/messaging carrier gateway) and Supabase, Inc. (database and backend infrastructure). These providers process personal information solely to support the operation of our service on our behalf.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit (TLS), access controls that limit who on our team can view caller data, and authentication on all administrative interfaces. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect this information and to limit how much of it we hold in the first place.

8. Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

  • Stop receiving messages by replying STOP;
  • Ask us what information we hold about your phone number, and ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. Note that if you have opted out, we will keep your number on our opt-out suppression list for the period described in Section 5 even after a deletion request, so that we continue to honor your opt-out.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what information we collect, request deletion of your information, and opt out of certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. Children's privacy

Our service is directed to businesses and their customers, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle caller information will be reflected here before they take effect.
